Baby Brahms was born in 2014 in Mold, North Wales. Inspired by an old school friends "Classical Babies" in London, Helen Carver was keen to see if there would be interest in a smaller location. Armed with 3 musician friends, a lot of tea and cake and an open mind, the first bilingual concert was a resounding success, and broadcast by BBC Radio Cymru.
Further concerts followed using an eclectic mix of musicians, playing Mozart to McCartney and everything in between. Baby Brahms has provided baby friendly concerts at the Hammond prep school, P and A cafe, Loggerheads Country Park, Ruabon Community Centre. As well as using fully fledged musicians, Baby Brahms also provides a platform for aspiring A'level musicians to gain valuable performing experience. Concerts are now held regularly once a month in Mold, Colwyn Bay and Chester.
